Found at the 4600 block of Farlin near Lee. Was a 19 year old kid they pulled over. Officer said he saw a young guy on a scooter and suspected it was stolen. He said you don’t see many scooters around that area.
Hers a google map of the location it was found at.

Ok there is some damage as expected. I bought it in almost 100% original parts, so I’m a little upset about not being able to keep it all original. I am thankful I have it back at least. At least now I have an excuse to put aftermarket stuff on it and not feel guilty about ruining the “original” aspect of the bike.
Disconnected the speedometer cable for some reason. Oddly enough the guy I bought it from gave me an extra. What are the chances.

Mild damage from laying it down. Not much damage wise, but thats a $100 part and most of them are in thailand and on ebay. 6 to 8 weeks shipping.

Right battery cover missing. They sell after market ones, but only in white. The blue ones go for about $60 to $100 a piece on ebay. Hard to find.

Both mirror got broke. Not sure why or how this happened.

I had already bent back my signal lights. They were really bent up bad.

Bent the left foot peg. I should be able to bend it back. Or beat it back into shape.

Missing the air breather cover. Not sure why its missing either.

The dangling ignition that can now needs a screw driver to turn. I expected this. I also replaced it once when I broke my one and only key. Easy fix.

Most of the damage is electrical. The tail lights and blinkers don’t work. I’m hoping they either blew them out hot wiring it or they broke when it was throw into a truck. Either way I am capable of working on the bike, but electrical work is not one of my strongest skills. Also the brakes are almost shot. They are completely mush now and squeal. Not sure how that happened. They had more than 60% of the pads left. I just checks a month ago. It still runs like a champ. It is truly one of the most indestructible bikes ever made. Bless you Honda.
